Um....

Is it bad that I cheer when I find out that my son is going to be gone an hour and half tomorrow night for his piano group lesson? That is 1.5 hours I now have to myself! I might be a little too happy about this....

  1. Nope....

    I love my girls.

But a little peace and quiet is never a bad thing.

  2. So, what the heck are you going to do?

  3. Not at all. Everyone needs (and deserves) a little downtime.

I suggest you forgo the "Gottas" and do a "Wanna" during that time.

  4. I share my custody with my ex 50-50 and I do the happy dance on Fridays when they leave. I also miss the hell out of them on Saturday. I do fine through the week, but when Friday rolls around again, I am ready for them to be back home!

  5. I would never get anything done at the house if my daughter never spent time with her father. It's OK to relish some time to yourself. Single parents need this.

  6. Ha! I always feel guilty about being excited too.

They need time away from us too!!

Enjoy your 1.5 hours of "me" time! Woohoo!

  7. Lizzy,
    I certainly concur. :-)

    SMS,
    No idea yet.

    Enzo,
    Trying to decide the 'Wanna'.

    John,
Yep, exactly the same for me. His mom lives four hours away, so she only sees him on long breaks and the summer. I wish I had more breaks in between.

    Fraizerbaz,
I might just stay at home and read or watch a tv show through netflix.

    T,
they do need time away from us. I'm all to happy to give it to him too. Come the end of May he and I both are looking to go our separate ways! :-)
