Was watching the news this morning...

While I was running at the gym. I was listening to Paramore, but reading the subtitles for the news. On one screen they were talking about Bristol Palin. I got to thinking about how people lived in the past and how they live today. There really isn't too much new under the sun, and human societies cope with life in a huge variety of ways.

There are so many definitions of success, hapiness, and love. You have to find the one that is right for you. There are also many different paths to get there, and no tried and true guaranteed formula for attaining what you want. Most of us have to face failure and difficult times. I have learned that once you go through some things then you can pretty much weather anything.

So what do you do when things don't go as planned? What do you do when the unexpected comes up? You make the best of what you have. Luck favors the prepared so you take your lessons as they come and try to be ready for the next thing. Bristol and her parents may not have planned this, but it happened and you do what you can from there. All is certainly not lost, not by a long shot. The economy isn't what we had hoped for at this point, but it certainly isn't the end of the world, and there is opportunity if you have the vision for it.
