Research and Diorama project....and Math

So, after all the fighting my son did with me over the diorama research, he did write it out in his own words...and he got a 100 on the project.

He argues with me about math too. Today he tried again. I asked him who has been right and who has been wrong every time he tries to contest a math problem...he said "You've been right and I've been wrong". So he sat and listened to what I had to say.

    I might use your son's line from now on. This morning, after a mini battle of wills with my oldest, I finished by telling him that no matter what, I'm always going to know just a little bit more than he does, so he will never be able to pull stuff over me.

    Until tomorrow, when he probably tries again!

    Good for you! And kudos on the single parenting--I totally understand! Have been full time single parenting for 6 years now. Kiddoes are now 7 and 9.
